Learning Objectives

  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to interpret OCT's from first principles, identifying pertinent retinal layers
  • At the completion of the CPD activity the participants should be able to identify the layer of the retinal bleeds, and the significance of doing so.
  • At the completion of the activity the participants should be able to recognise which cases are urgent to refer on, and the ones that can wiat/
  • At the completion of the activity the participants should be able to identify life threatening OCT's
  • At the completion of the activity the participants should be able to understand the subtleties of which retinal cases require surgery, and the ones that don't.
  • At the completion of the activity the participants should be able to recognise complex retinal cases which they may encounter in the community.
