Learning Objectives

  • Co-manage postoperative patients better and in a timely fashion especially with post-op cystoid macular oedema and/or rebound anterior chamber inflammation
  • Have better counselling options for patients who have otherwise achieved an excellent visual outcome but are unhappy due to ocular surface issues or posterior capsular fibrotic changes
  • Have a better understanding of possible post-operative refractive surprises in patients who have had refractive corneal laser treatment prior to cataract surgery in the past, and how to deal with it
