Activity Outline
The eye is an outpouching of the brain and neuro-optometry represents a new frontier in expanding scope for optometric practice. This lecture will give an overview of common brain diseases that can impact visual signs and symptoms, work through some case studies and summarise the key clinical take-home messages that an optometrist will find useful to bring back to their everyday practice.
This sponsored presentation afterwards will examine common misconceptions in soft contact lens fitting and uncover underlying factors that contribute to these misunderstandings. It will review current research insights and demonstrate how adopting the latest technologies can help overcome them. Optometrist Shon Prasad will share insights and practical experience from clinical practice to bring these concepts to life.
