  • Understand the role of review of the optic disc, visual fields, RNFL OCT and GCL OCT in the diagnosis of glaucoma
  • Understand the Shifting Glaucoma Treatment Paradigm
  • Understand the role of “Traditional Medical Management” in management of glaucoma
  • Understand why optic disc RNFL measurements may be unreliable in myopic eyes
  • Understand why Macular Ganglion Cell Layer may be useful in glaucoma and optic neuropathies
  • Understand the use of OCT in myopic macular pathologies including Myopic foveo-schisis, Dome-Shaped Macula and Choroidal Neovascularisation
  • Understand that visual fields are a subjective test
  • Understand that visual field results can be very instruction dependent
  • Understand that a wide variety of retinal, optic nerve and even brain disorders can cause visual field constriction
  • Understand how to confidently assess the red reflex in infants
  • Understand the causes of an abnormal red reflex, and when to refer
  • List common causes of congenital and infantile cataract
