Activity Outline

The program is designed to educate Optometrists in the shared care of patients suitable for Implantable Contact Lenses (ICLs) for the correction of refractive eye conditions.

Key topics will include Patient Selection, Pre-operative Measurements ICL Surgery and Post-operative Shared Care.

The program includes an online interactive introductory component as well as a video presentation on ICL surgery by Dr Patrick Versace.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn how to manage patients who are suitable for ICL refractive surgery
  • Provide advice to patients on their suitability for ICL refractive surgery and provide ongoing post-operative care
