Learning Objectives
- Participants will gain insight into the incidence of OSSN in our clinic, with results and data presented based on clinical cases for the past 12 months.
- participants will get a better understanding of when to refer for pterygium excision, based on the current technique employed, pre-op appearance, post op pain and expected healing
- participants will get a better understanding of the methods employed in treatment of OSSN if pathology returns a positive result for malignancy or dysplasia, and the frequency of aftercare/monitoring going forward.
- A series of interesting and unusual cases will be presented. Participants will have the opportunity to actively discuss their methods for diagnosis, tests used, and treatment /management protocols.
