Therapeutic Grand Rounds

Dr Wen Lim, a fellowship trained medical retinal specialist and cataract surgeon will discuss the different intravitreal drugs used for retinal diseases and infectious diseases in the eye.

Dr Colby Hart will focus on the considerations for patients who require cataract surgery while also suffering from corneal pathology.  His presentation will highlight the therapeutic options used to optimise patients prior to cataract surgery with an emphasis on the role that optometrists can play in this setting.

Dr Helen Garrott will discuss assessment of eyelid lesions in patients, using case studies to demonstrate potential treatment options including the use of topical agents for premalignant and malignant skin lesions.
