Learning Objectives

  • Adenoviral Conjunctivitis objectives: 1. To review the biology of Adenovirus, and understand the different subtypes of the virus and their clinical manifestations 2. To explore the typical clinical presentation of Adenoviral conjunctivitis 3. To describe the seasonal pattern of Adenoviral conjunctivitis in Victoria
  • Vertical squint review objectives: 1. To understand what vertical fusion range is and ways to measure it. 2. To know what a normal vertical fusion range is and understand what happens to the vertical fusion range in cases of longstanding vertical phoria’s. 3. To understand who benefits from squint surgery and who does not.
  • Outcomes of the LEAD study objectives: 1. To be able to identify different drusen sub-types on mutli-modal imaging. 2. To understand OCT bio-markers for disease progression. 3. To understand the potential role for sub-threshold nano-second laser therapy in intermediate AMD.
