  • Explain the primary objectives in surgical intervention for ocular trauma
  • Implement techniques for co-management of ocular trauma with ophthalmology colleagues

  • Differentiate and characterise possible sequalae of ocular trauma
  • Discriminate between benign and suspicious periocular lesions
  • Identify the main characteristics of lesions requiring onward referral for Ophthalmology assessment
  • Discuss non- surgical and surgical management options for periocular tumours
  • Compare the different approaches to assessing ocular tissue sections
  • Implement techniques for co-management of periocular tumours with ophthalmology colleagues
  • Relate important information for prevention, management, and follow up of periocular tumours to patients
