Vic Eye & Retina Specialists and Directors Dr Dustin Pomerleau and Dr Mei Tan are pleased to invite you to our upcoming educational evening.

Join us for a 3 course dinner and drinks at The Sage Hotel Ringwood, which is located a block down from our clinic on Maroondah Highway.

*Registration is complimentary, but please note that places are limited

 Arrive at 6.00pm for entree and drinks. Presentations will start at 6.30pm and conclude around 9.00pm. Please feel free to join us after the presentations for a drink and a chat!

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the mechanism, availability, and efficacy of new treatments for dry macular degeneration.
  • Learn strategies for optimising vision outcomes in patients with intractable macular disease.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to identify appropriate keratoconus patients who may benefit from allogenic intracorneal ring segment surgery and understand when referral for surgical evaluation is indicated.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to describe the principles, clinical outcomes, and role of allogenic intracorneal ring segments in improving corneal shape and visual function in keratoconus.
  • Apply a systematic diagnostic approach using multimodal retinal imaging to evaluate complex or unexplained retinal presentations.
  • Develop appropriate differential diagnoses and investigation strategies for patients presenting with atypical retinal feature
