Learning Objectives
- Understand co-management of post-operative cataract complications, including when to refer back to the Ophthalmologist.
- Confidently educate/counsel their patients on what to expect when cataract surgery is needed. This can therefore reduce patient anxiety, as they will know what to expect at each stage of the process.
- How to write a great referral and what to include for certain conditions, in particular CMO, Dry Eye, IOP steroid response and retinal detachment symptoms vs dysphotopsia.
