  • 2.1.1 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Restate the neuro-inflammatory hypothesis in connection with Visual Snow. Discuss the foundations of vision, namely visual-vestibular grounding, gross and fine motor, eye-hand coordination, peripheral awareness and primitive reflexes.
  • 2.1.2 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Detail the elements of central vision, including monocular vision, equal acuity, and monocular oculomotor skills. List the elements of binocular vision skills, particularly binocular oculomotor skills, accommodation, binocular central/peripheral function, fusion skills, vergence, and fixations.
  • 2.1.3 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Review the visual processes of perception in relation to cognition
  • 2.2.1 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: List the components of a case history in relation to Visual Snow. Discuss the features of standard optometric testing of a patient with symptoms suggestive of Visual Snow.
  • 2.2.2 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Describe the elements of functional visual evaluation of a patient with symptoms suggestive of Visual Snow. Recall the details of observational testing of a patient with symptoms suggestive of Visual Snow.
  • 2.2.3 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Relate the neuro-sensory tests used for a patient with symptoms suggestive of Visual Snow. Detail the advanced features of binocular vision assessment, such as egocentric localization, of a patient with symptoms suggestive of Visual Snow.
  • 2.3.1 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Explain the overall principles of programming and delivering vision therapy for a patient with Visual Snow. Detail activities used in vision therapy for visual-vestibular function.
  • 2.3.2 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Illustrate vision therapy options to improve monocular and binocular vision functions
  • 2.3.3 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Characterise vision therapy procedures for visual perception and cognition for a patient with Visual Snow
  • 2.4.1 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Demonstrate the process of establishing and communicating expectations and goals for treatment of Visual Snow. Restate the methods for estimating duration of treatment of visual issues associated with Visual snow.
  • 2.4.2 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Express the issues to be considered in co-treatment with other interventions
  • 2.4.3 At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to: Dramatise the impact of Covid and other illnesses on treatment of Visual Snow
