An Afternoon to Inspire, Connect & Empower Women in Optics

Join us for an inspiring afternoon created to elevate and empower female practices owners and manager across the optical industry through leadership insight, practical business strategy, and meaningful connection.

This dynamic program brings together like-minded peers for an experience that blends professional growth with genuine conversation. You’ll hear from expert speakers on:

Work–life blending and sustainable success

Building resilience and confidence in leadership

Creating long-term financial and professional independence

Gain real-world insights from a panel of successful practice leaders, then take part in energising roundtable discussions focused on the topics that matter most to women in leadership—culture, growth, confidence, and navigating the work–family juggle. Key takeaways from each roundtable will be shared with the full group, so everyone benefits from the collective wisdom.

All of this takes place in a relaxed, supportive setting—with high tea service at your table.

Learning Objectives

  • Wellbeing and Work Life Balance-  Build resilience, have better time management, use support structures successfully, achieve and maintain a healthy work life balance and lead boldly to build a business career they are proud of.
  • Financial Independence - Build and protect their personal and practice assets, have succession pathways in place for their practice ownership/partnership, have practical safeguards for super, insurance and beneficiary nominations and a checklist for goal setting framework tailored to optical practices
  • Discuss strategies for working on not in the business, confidence and conquering the family work juggle, overcoming business growth challenges, workplace culture and mentorship and leadership. review all of the key learnings 
  • Review key strategies and tips from each group on each topic shared back to the whole room
  • Review key learnings with assistance in setting their individual top 3 game changers
