Optometry Australia is inviting expressions of interest from members in the NT to join the Northern Territory Advisory Committee.
This is a unique opportunity to have input into the work of the Association, and contribute to the future of optometry and eye care in the NT.
About the Northern Territory Advisory Committee
The inaugural Northern Territory Advisory Committee (NTAC) will provides essential advice and input to Optometry Australia’s CEO and Secretariat staff on issues relevant to the NT, including:
- Emerging issues in optometry and eye care.
- Clinical and technical optometric advice and feedback.
- Policy issues and advocacy strategies.
- Development and updating of member resources and information.
- Up to six members will meet virtually at least twice a year and it is intended that the composition of the NTAC reflects the diversity of the optometry sector in the NT.

- A 150-word bio, detailing relevant experience; and
- a 100-word statement overviewing why you’re interested in participating.
