Associate Professor Mark Roth, Dr Laura Downie and Dr Josephine Li were presented with Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry, at the academy’s annual meeting in Seattle last week.

Dr Sharon Bentley was also awarded her Diplomate in Low Vision at the academy awards.

Professor Roth is clinical editor of Optometrists Association’s Pharma magazine. Dr Downie regularly contributes abstracts in Pharma and the December issue will feature her article on AREDS2. Dr Bentley was special guest clinical editor of the Pharma Low Vision Primer, published in September.

Optometrists Association Australia national director Kate Johnson, who is a member of the International Admittance Committee for AAO Fellowship, also attended the annual Academy meeting.
