A new login function for the Clinical and Experimental Optometry iPad app provides easier access to the journal’s research papers, clinical communications and editorials.

Optometry Australia members can now access the journal’s content through the app in two simple steps. Step one, download the app from iTunes, which is free for members. Step two, login with your Optometry Australia membership number and password.

Previously, members were directed to Wiley Online Library and needed to use an access code to unlock content in the app. The new feature makes it significantly easier to access the journal’s content anywhere and any time, from your home or practice, while commuting or when travelling.

Another improvement in the app is the option to save journal papers as PDFs.

As each new issue of Clinical and Experimental Optometry is published in print, it is added to the app.

The app is currently available only for the iPad, from the app store on iTunes. iPhone and Android versions are in development.
