700 show up for O-Show

The inaugural O-Show hosted by Optical Distributors and Manufacturers Association (ODMA) attracted nearly 700 visitors at the Docklands in Melbourne.

ODMA CEO Finola Carey described O-Show, held on 21-22 May, as a pop-up boutique event.

She said the show was what the independent optical industry had been asking for and comments from visitors and exhibitors had been excellent.

O-Show showcased optical equipment, frames and lenses, and included short business seminars focused on improving business through customer service, digital marketing and patient retention.

ODMA’s next major event for the independent optical industry, ODMA 2017, will be held on 7-9 July 2017 at the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney.
