ECOV/SA are seeking new committee members!
Are you in the first ten years of your practice?
South-Australia based volunteer positions on the Early Career Optometrists Victoria South Australia (ECOV/SA) committee have now become available, and Optometry Australia is calling for expressions of interest from members who would like to join the committee.
ECOV/SA are an advisory committee of Optometry Australia, responsible for providing regular events, networking opportunities, and information specifically for early career optometrists. General duties include (all committee members):
• actively participating in regular ECOV/SA committee meetings either in person or by teleconference;
• attending relevant ECOV/SA and events
• staying up-to-date with a wide range of experiences of early career optometrists, and
• providing advice on the experiences of early career optometrists at committee meetings and other forums as required.
The ECOV/SA Terms of Reference are available and should be reviewed before applying.
Application process
Applicants must be:
• a current member of Optometry Australia;
• an early career optometrist who graduated in the last ten years, and
• currently living or working in South Australia
Interested applicants should complete the expression of interest form and email it to Lyn Hsieh l.hsieh@optometry.org.au by no later than 9am Friday March 1, 2024
