In this presentation, the key considerations that need to be thought of when prescribing for paediatric patients will be discussed. The pharmacological differences in how paediatric patients may process medications differently than adults, and therefore the need for modification of medication selection, dosages and precautions, will be presented. Key resources for prescribing for the paediatric population and how to use them will also be explored.
