OVC 2024: The power of pills: How oral therapeutics can play a role in dry eye disease management (Recorded Webcast)
Activity Outline
Symptoms of dry eye impact a significant number of patients in Australia and New Zealand. Dry eye disease is a chronic, progressive condition that impacts ocular comfort, vision, productivity, and quality of life. While topical care is the primary method of managing ocular eye disease in the optometric setting, oral therapeutics may support improvement in the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease. This talk will discuss oral therapeutics and the role they play in managing dry eye disease, including cases from a New Zealand optometry setting.
