In this webinar, we are fortunate to have Dr Daniel Athavale present interactive case studies on glaucoma patients at different stages, provide insight into the management of glaucoma in pregnancy and while breastfeeding, and discuss new and novel surgical devices used in glaucoma management.

  • Understand the potential adverse drug reactions of commonly used topical glaucoma medications
  • Understand and be able to escalate the care of patients with progressive glaucomatous optic neuropathy
  • Recognise emergencies and referral pathways in glaucoma
  • Gain insight into the management of glaucoma in pregnancy and while breastfeeding
  • Gain insight into the co-management of glaucoma between Optometrist and Ophthalmologist
  • Recognise that glaucoma may be secondary to systemic diseases
  • Appreciate the new or novel surgical devices used in glaucoma management
