Join your fellow optometrists for an evening of continuing professional development with talks from Dr Aaron Yeung, Dr Shirley Ma and Dr Dina Elsayed. Topics include post cataract surgery retinal complications, neuro-ophthalmology and features of malignant vs benign lid lesions. Registrations commence at 6pm on Tuesday 1/4/25. A 2-course sit down meal will be provided during the event.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the most common causes of post-cataract surgery complications and tailor patient treatment plans accordingly
- Identify common causes of post-cataract surgery complications and be able to triage urgency of referral to ophthalmologist or to emergency
- Inform treatment plans for paediatric ambylopia cases
- Understand and apply vision therapy regimes to paediatric practise
- Examine and identify lid lesions that either have benign features or malignant features
- Appropriately triage patients based on identification of their eyelid lesions.
