Activity Outline

Do you want to crack the contact lens code? Scleral lenses have revolutionised specialty contact lens practice by offering unparalleled vision correction and ocular surface protection. Similarly, recent innovations in soft disposable contact lenses push the boundaries of performance to meet evolving vision care needs and help improve patient experiences.

This educational evening will offer insights into the technologies associated with the latest soft contact lens innovation to be launched to market, ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day Family, with an additional focus on presbyopic prescribing insights and the application of modern, patient-centric, multifocal contact lens fitting protocols.  Additionally, the diverse applications of scleral lenses will be explored, from traditional use in corneal ectasia to their emerging role in ocular surface disease management. Attendees will gain confidence in understanding the diverse indications for prescribing scleral lenses as a therapeutic device and sophisticated optical correction to improve patient outcomes.

Via the use of "interactive" small group discussions, real-world case studies will be shared and explored, highlighting how the combination of improving technical prescribing skills and innovations in contact lens design can be a winning formula to delivering successful outcomes with patients and elevate your contact lens practice.
