Interactive Wet-Lab experience with Eye Specialists Centre

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the principles of glaucoma filtration surgery and the potential risks, and understand the similarities and differences between trabeculectomy and Preserflo Microshunt surgery
  • Understand how to appropriately examine patient who presents with a corneal foreign body
  • Gain confidence in identifying the depth of a corneal foreign body and gain confidence in techniques for corneal foreign body removal
  • Perform gonioscopy on a patient and understand how to differentiate open and closed anterior chamber angles
  • Perform fundus examination to identify common retinal signs and diseases.
