Learning Objectives
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand the natural healing and scarring process of the cornea.
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand how a pterygium, Salzmann nodule, EMBD and other pathology affect corneal topography
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should have an in depth understanding of why corneal topography must be studied to achieve superior surgical outcomes for patients
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to treat the above conditions with topical therapeutic medication
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to be able to explain the range of vision expected with Alcon PanOptix IOLs
- At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to understand important aspects of image capture and analysis using the Pentacam AXL
