Learning Objectives

  • Be able to identify 2 common benign eyelid lesions
  • Be able to identify 2 common malignant eyelid lesions
  • Be able to describe how a simple reconstruction of the eyelid may be performed
  • Describe 2 causes of dry eye symptoms after cataract surgery
  • Be able to describe the common cause of double vision and strabismus in adults
  • Be able to recognise when further investigations are required
  • Have a knowledge of the various ways in which strabismus in adults can be managed (prisms, botulinum toxin surgery)
