- Justify the decision to perform myopia management in adults, young adults or young children
- Consider the implications of anisometropia on managing myopia
- Describe the optimal treatment duration for myopia management strategies
- Explore the reasons for fast progression
- Justify whether axial length measurement is required in myopia management
- List key binocular vision tests to perform for a child with progressive myopia
- Diagnose and treat binocular vision abnormalities for a child with progressive myopia
- Describe the recommended addition power of an optical-based treatment for those with abnormal phorias
- Explain the effect on the phoria status due to the myopia control strategy employed
- Describe best practice for fitting multifocal contact lenses and ortho-K for a child with myopia
- Manage variable and poor vision in children using different treatment strategies (multifocal contact lenses, orthokeratology, low-dose atropine)
- Troubleshoot common issues encountered with ortho-K
- Where appropriate, justify use of low-dose atropine treatment for more than 2 years duration, or for continued fast progression despite treatment
- Discuss the prevalence of high myopia, and risk of ocular conditions associated with high myopia
