  • • Be able to counsel a patient on some of the preop preparation they may need to get the best outcomes from cataract surgery
  • • Have confidence in assessing patients refractive needs after cataract surgery depending on their intraocular lens type
  • • Manage minor postoperative issues after cataract surgery to optimise patient outcomes
  • • Identify red flags in the post cataract patient and appropriate referral pathways
