Pale optic nerves can occur due to a wide variety of pathological processes but identifying the underlying cause can often prove to be difficult in clinical practice. This interactive session will provide a systematic approach in clinical work up of optic atrophy including targeted history-taking, ocular examination, and the indications for referral for further systemic investigations.
