- To develop the learner’s ability to identify lesions of both proliferative and non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy using advanced ocular imaging technologies
- To be able to accurately grade the level of diabetic retinopathy and develop an appropriate management plan based on this classification
- To understand the risk factors associated with both the development and progression of diabetic retinopathy
