This symposium will focus on diplopia in cataract patients. Orthoptic assessment preoperatively, IOL selection, Surgical planning and postop management of diplopia will be discussed in depth. The discussion will be case based so that the optometrists can manage their cataract patients with confidence.
Learning Objectives
- Assess pre-op patients with cataract and symptoms of diplopia
- Understand refractive planning and IOL selection keeping in mind post-op optical aids
- Assess and manage post-op patients with diplopia after cataract surgery
