Activity Outline

In this interactive CPD webinar, hear valuable advice from experienced optometrists on what they wish they knew about contact lenses as an early career optometrist. Recognise why new grads should focus on contact lenses and understand the technology of Alcon’s water surface lenses and the clinical data to support patient outcomes. This 60 minute webinar will include 15 minute of interactive discussion where optometrists in groups of 10 or less will reflect on key learnings and how this will influence their clinical practice. 

Learning Objectives

  • Describe a deeper understanding of the patient, practice and practitioner benefits of prescribing contact lenses.
  • Understand the unique technology of Alcon's water surface lenses, TOTAL1 and PRECISION1 and how their respective materials and unique properties may enhance a patient's contact lens wearing experience.
  • Identify which contact lens material may best suit the lifestyle and ocular needs of a patient and best practices to communicate these features to patients.
