- * Understand the management of diabetic retinopathy in pregnancy * Consider and identify the use of ocular therapeutics in pregnancy and breastfeeding * Recognise differentials of diabetic retinopathy
- * Recognise different causes of a swollen optic nerve head * Understand the role of the Preserflo Shunt * Be updated with the current research recently covered at the Glaucoma society meeting
- * Understand new treatments for geographic atrophy in dry AMD * Understand benefits of different Anti-VEGF medications * Understand limitations of different Anti-VEGF medications
- * Improve interpretation of macular OCT * Identify the urgency of referral for macular pathologies * Learn how to support patients during their recovery
- * Understand what factors need to be considered when examining patients who have cataracts and coexisting ocular disease so as to be able to communicate effectively with patients. * Comprehend the different treatment options for patients with these conditions * Recognize the preoperative considerations and to be able to discuss medical and surgical options available * Appreciate the complexities that may arise intraoperatively and the complications that may occur postoperatively
