Learning Objectives
- Recognise signs of secondary causes associated with glaucoma
- Understand the use of optic disc imaging and visual field testing in glaucoma management & identify non-glaucomatous causes of abnormal optic disc imaging and visual field loss
- Recognise eyelid malpositions, understand their effects as well as the possible management/corrective options
- Better understand how to appropriately triage retinal conditions based on level of urgency (referring versus monitoring) & what to do when unsure
- Identify common presentations of cataract in children, the importance of systemic disease & the major considerations in the management of the paediatric patient
