  • To understand and interpret infrared reflectance.
  • To understand and interpret multispectral imaging compared to true colour fundus photography.
  • To understand and interpret fundus autofluorescence and its clinical utility.
  • To understand the unique characteristics of glaucomatous eyes and the key factors that influence IOL selection in people with glaucoma undergoing cataract surgery.
  • To be familiar with the different IOL technologies that exist to address patients’ visual needs and expectations.
  • To be aware of the latest research in this field and use this to formulate strategies to set realistic expectations.
