Learning Objectives
- 1. At the completion of this course, participants will gain knowledge of Medicare item numbers they are underutilizing.
- 2. At the completion of this course, participants will gain an understanding on when to use Medicare item numbers that are not commonly used.
- 3. At the completion of this course, participants will have an improved interpretation and better understanding of the importance of correct item number itemisation.
- 4. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to identify the Change You Want and understand how this aligns with your business goals.
- 5. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to develop a change management strategy framework which includes: clear goals and strategies, communication to people affected by the change, and education and training.
- 6. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to implementation and measure results: taking action, measuring results, honest and open feedback, and accountability and reward.
- 7. At the completion of this course, participants will be better equipped to redefine their personal goals when faced with an obstacle or setback.

- 11. At the completion of this course, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the best use of Facebook and Instagram and tips for using hashtags.
- 12. At the completion of this course, participants will gain an understanding of how the culture in the optometry profession could be more embracing of women.
- 13. At the completion of this course, participants will gain an understanding of the sacrifices that many women make to run an optometry practice while raising a family.
- 14. At the completion of this course, participants will gain insights into human resource issues that Eyecare Plus members have experienced and how they could have been avoided.
- 15. At the completion of this course, participants will learn strategies to reduce regulatory and compliance human resource risk.
- 16. At the completion of this course, participants will gain knowledge on how one member used their learnings from the Essilor Professional Recognition Award to set growth targets and how they achieved or exceeded the targets.
- 17. At the completion of this course, participants will gain knowledge on the projects that the Eyecare Plus National Office are currently working on and will be working on in 2020, and how these projects will benefit the members.
- 18. At the completion of this course, participants will be given an update of the planned 2020 marketing campaigns and how they can best utilise them.
