Learning Objectives

  • Participants are expected to have an improved appreciation of Paediatric Glaucoma's presenting complaints and of those glaucoma subcategories that are more common in Asian eyes, and their suggested screening by Optometrist routine visits, and their subsequent management: 1. Identify presenting complains, signs, symptom of paediatric glaucoma
  • 2. Identify how to approach and screen for glaucoma in Asian eyes
  • 3. Recognise and convey messages to patients or their relatives of likely management pathways for patients with NTG, PACS, PAC, ACG, Juvenile Glaucoma or Congenital Glaucoma
