Date: 1/05/2019

Venue: Sandhurst Club, Clubhouse Lane, Sandhurst, 3977, VIC, 3977

Provider: Dr Nishant Gupta

Learning Objectives

  • Participants would be more confident in diagnosing different anterior segment conditions and referral to a specialist in a suitable time frame. Keratoconus progression criteria with a newly defined criterion will be of clinical use to the practicing Optometrists
  • Approach and evaluation of Disc Oedema would be of help to the Optometrists in the prompt referral of these patients. Some of these could be just benign conditions while others could be life threatening.
  • Participants would be able to differentiate between benign and pathological retinal lesions. That way they can prioritise the referrals to a specialist.
