Activity Outline
This workshop will explore the vision standards for driving with a private driving licence. It will use interactive cases to interpret vision outcomes and make recommendations on driving, especially for borderline cases for individuals that might be able to drive with a private conditional driver’s licence.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the current vision driving standards
- Interpret clinical optometric tests (visual acuity, visual field and contrast sensitivity) to identify if patient meet the criteria for an unconditional or conditional private driver’s licence
