Activity Outline

Dr Catriona Downie will present Assessment of common ocuoplastic presentations.

Dr Yasser Tariq will presented What's new in Medical Retina.

Dr Agarwal's presentation will be on Refractive update and will have an interactive component with attendees loading intraocular lenses and feel for capsulorhexis.

Learning Objectives

  • Load intraocular lenses and get the feel for capsulorhexis
  • Recognise eyelid conditions which require urgent review
  • Identify patients who need treatment for age related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease and initiate appropriate referrals
  • Manage cataract/refractive surgery patients wanting less reliance on glasses and recognise postoperative complications in a timely manner
