Activity Outline
These optometry night sessions are aimed at educating our local optometrists in both the diagnostic and management challenges for conditions of the retina, with an emphasis on both wet and dry macular degeneration. Findings from current clinical trials will also be discussed.

Learning Objectives
- To update attendees on the mechanism of action and clinical trial data for faricimab in neovascular macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema.
- To update attendees on the latest data for current and emerging treatments of geographic atrophy
- To improve understanding of multimodal imaging in differentiating maculopathies
- To improve interpretation of OCT and OCT angiography in macular disorders
- To improve differential diagnosis of peripheral retinopathies utilizing ultrawide field imaging
- To improve understanding of management issues in treating neovascular macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema
