Activity Outline

This face-to-face evening dinner event will cover topics on optimising patient care for referral and co-management with ophthalmology, specialty contact lens fitting including scleral lenses, and the tips and tricks for anterior segment pathology patients in clinical practice. Limited seating so get in quick if you want your chance to ask the experts in our interactive session! There will be 2 talks of 90 minutes each. At least 25% will be interactive with at least 8 experts to run the interactive breakout sessions on the night.


Learning Objectives

  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to Understand the significance of co-management in the treatment of corneal pathology and its impact on patient care. Explore the benefits of collaboration between ophthalmologists and optometrists, including improved access to specialised care, enhanced patient compliance, and shared knowledge.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to Gain insights from real-life case studies that demonstrate successful co-management scenarios and their positive impact on patient outcomes.
  • At the completion of the CPD activity, participants should be able to know Tips and tricks for both optometrists and ophthalmologists in the co-management of patients with complex corneal conditions, including specialty contact lens fitting.
