Activity Outline

Join us for an enlightening educational event featuring four distinguished doctors, each presenting on critical topics in their fields. This engaging event will not only provide valuable insights but also include interactive multiple-choice questions to reinforce your understanding. Participate in small group sessions that foster discussion and deeper exploration of each presentation. This event promises to enhance your knowledge and inspire your practice. Smaller groups will then rejoin to a main group to discuss learning and feedback.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn about referral options for glaucoma patients within the private versus public sector
  • Understand the magnitude of glaucoma and the impact this will have on the health care service
  • Learn how new glaucoma procedures developed in the past few years have affected our traditional drops-laser-surgery glaucoma management algorithm
  • Review the most common causes of anterior/intermediate/posterior uveitis
  • Better understand when to refer cases of uveitis and the urgency of such referrals
  • Better understand when and how to instigate management of uveitis
  • Identify the red flags in uveitis and what not to miss
  • Understand current trends in management and recent literature on myopia control (including PEDIG 2023 study and combination therapy) and cross-linking in keratoconus
