  • 1. Understand new treatments for Geographic Atrophy in dry AMD 2. Understand the benefits of different AntiVegf medication 3. Understand the limitations of different Antivegf medication
  • - Review of corneal diseases that affect IOL choice incl keratoconus and EBMD - Intercurrent eye disease factors that affect IOL choice incl PXF, ARMD and glaucoma - Patient- related factors incl personality, hobbies, profession
  • 1) Identify vision threatening causes of red eyes and glaucoma 2) Development a management scheme for treating urgent glaucoma patients 3) Identify causes of chronic red eyes associated with glaucoma treatment and presentation
  • To broaden retinal knowledge beyond the common diseases and have an approach to rare retinal conditions and diagnostic dilemmas.
  • To understand different types of anaesthesia for cataract surgery including their pros and cons. To provide guidance and advice to patients undergoing cataract surgery.
