Learning Objectives

  • Understand the role of cataract surgery in contemporary glaucoma management.
  • Recognise special considerations for glaucoma patients undergoing cataract surgery.
  • Recognise the symptoms and signs of ocular surface disease.
  • Understand and appropriately manage the various causes of ocular surface disease.
  • Describe gonioscopic features of the drainage angle
  • Understand the basis for angle closer treatment.
  • Recognise signs of common retinal conditions seen with autofluorescence and UWF imaging.
  • Identify and interpret common artefacts seen with these imaging modalities.
