  • To be able to recognise vitelliform lesions clinically and on multimodal imaging. To be able to differentiate lesions from choroidal neovascular membranes. To be aware of the natural history and prognosis of adult onset vitelliform macular dystrophy. To be able to recognise the vision threatening complications of adult onset macular dystrophy.
  • Describe the typical appearance of retinal optical cover ace tomography (OCT) in healthy eyes. Describe the typical appearance of retinal OCT in a range of diseases presentations Correlate OCT features with histology performed on enucleated eyes
  • Understanding ICL pros and cons
  • Know the surgical and medical options available to treat presbyopia Understand indications and contra-indications for PRESBYOND surgery Understand the risks and benefits of clear lens extraction + IOL Understand which patients would benefit from intervention
