Learning Objectives

  • Participants will be able to identify corneal pathologies
  • Participants will be gain an understanding of conservative treatment for corneal pathology
  • Participants will be able to identify suitable refractive surgery options for patients
  • Participants will gain an understanding of the limitations and benefits of currently available corneal refractive techniques
  • Participants will be able to identify signs of keratoconus and gain an understand of the current available technology for its management
  • Participants will have a greater understanding of available topical glaucoma therapy, assess for their efficacy in patients and identify potential contraindications
  • Participants will be able to formulate a management plan for patients with glaucoma who may have variable responses to different medicines. Participants will know how to identify complications and modify their treatment approach.
