  • Outline the implications for eye health of high myopia.
  • Understand the management strategies to limit myopic progression
  • understand presenting features of giant cell arterits and the complexities in diagnosis
  • be aware of the appropriate investigations for GCA and understand treatment and its complications
  • identify common causes of floaters, their presentation, differentials, and when to refer for management
  • Not miss the more serious causes of floaters in patients
