Learning Objectives
- Understand all of the features of history, examination and investigations that may help differentiate papilloedema from pseudopapilloedema.
- Better understand different peripheral vitreoretinal pathology and the urgency of their referral
- Develop a broad understanding and assessment of comitant and incomitant strabismus
- Understand the difference between the various Anti-VegF treatments available on the market and the efficacy of each. The participant should be able to counsel patients with macular disease on the treatment options available to them accordingly.
- Understanding the diagnoses, risk factors, and treatment options for glaucoma suspect, ocular hypertension, and glaucoma.
- Understand which patients are and aren’t suitable for phakic intraocular lenses
- Distinguish brow ptosis from dermatochalasis
- Update on Giant Cell Arteritis
- Increase the diagnostic accuracy of participants in distinguishing benign from malignant lesions
