These sessions are aimed at educating a small group of participants on diagnostic and management challenges in conditions of the retina, vitreous, macula and uveitis with the emphasis on a practical “hands-on approach” with interactive small group discussion.

Learning Objectives

  • To understand the mechanism of action of Vabysmo (faricimab)
  • To understand the clinical trial results of Vabysmo (faricimab) for diabetic macular edema and neovascular macular degeneration
  • To be updated in the current and emerging clinical trials for macular degeneration
  • To utilize multimodal imaging in differentiating different maculopathies
  • To improve interpretation of OCT and OCT angiography in macular disorders
  • To understand the latest retinal imaging modalities including ultra-wide field imaging and OCT
  • To distinguish underlying different etiologies of macular edema by clinical history and clinical examination
